Last Tuesday I met Bruce Campbell. woo! Quite nifty, indeed. 🙂 He has a new movie out, Man with the Screaming Brain, which he directed. (You should be able to catch it on the SciFi channel soon, but for now it’s in theaters like the Alamo Drafthouse.) Also, he has a new book out, Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way. So he was there, at the Alamo last Tuesday, signing books and introducing his movie, and a friend was cool enough to know about it way in advance and get some tickets. So we went to see Bruce and his book and his movie. (click through for audio and picture(s))
Bruce answered questions before the movie started (and I managed to record most of it). He was just as amusing and entertaining in person as he is on screen. He answered questions about the making of MwtSB, including Bulgaria and the SciFi Channel. Also gave his opinion on Star Wars, Titanic, Batman, and other recent films, and discussed Phantasm 5, the Marx Brothers in Nacogdoches, his own movies (Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Bubba Hotep, .. ), making video games, and his upcoming projects. And his favorite movie is Bridge on the River Kwai.
I recorded this on my Cowon iAudio X5 using the voice recorder function. I tried cleaning it up a bit in Audacity, evening out the volume and stuff. Recorded it as 128kbps, but this file is 64kbps to save space.

I’m still a complete amateur when it comes to audio editing.
